The technological evolution in MRI of the last years has seen important developments particularly in data acquisition and elaboration resulting in a substantial improvement in image quality and reduction of scan-times.

Today, the majority of MRI installations are about outcome-based services that not only address specific clinical needs, but also operational and financial demands.

This is the strength of Esaote's Magnifico, which incorporates latest MRI technology for uncompromised diagnostic quality, combined with a permanent magnet that guarantees low operating costs.

Magnifico MRI Open system, free coil positioning, laser alignment, split coil design, transparent headcoil, easy-access patient bed. It all adds up to make patient positioning easy, fast and comfortable.

Claustrophobic patients

Magnifico is the right system for claustrophobic patients. The open magnet simply makes it a comfortable MRI experience for all patients, in particular children. Additionally, Magnifico comes with a transparent headcoil for enhanced patient comfort.

True-Motion

Several pathologies are affected by the motion of a joint like e.g. impingement. In these cases, Esaote's True-Motion MRI offers a complementary approach to standard static MRI with dynamic real-time acquisition of the joint in motion.

An additional tool to improve patient care in particular in high-level sports medicine.

Patients with metal implants are an ever-increasing part of the MRI population. Magnifico MRI is an optimal solution as the system has an intrinsic low level of susceptibility for metal with respect to traditional MRI.

Together with the dedicated MAR sequences, Magnifico offers high quality diagnostics also in the presence of the majority of implants.

Expert users can personalize all scanning parameters and customer sequences can be stored and integrated in the normal menu structure for subsequent use.

Magnifico comprises a complete software package: supplied with an extensive range of tools to process, display and analyze images.

Remote Service Capability.

Windows® interface: Because it's based on Windows® Magnifico is easy to learn and use. With a user interface and protocols are custom designed custom design for spine and extremities MRI, exam are fast and simple to perform.

Connectivity: Magnifico comes with comprehensive network, archiving and documentation features to work either as a stand-alone system or as part of an integrated environment. It offers an integrated DVD archive and retrieve software package, printer capability and a patient CD package. Magnifico is also DICOM compliant with connectivity and teleradiology solutions.

Remote operations: All Esaote MRI systems come with remote service capability. Many system parameters and components can be checked using the specially developed remote software, so Esaote’s application specialists can check image quality and assist local operators to set exam parameters. In case service is required, reduced reaction and repair times help you remain productive.
